Privacy Policy

CleanShot Vault is designed to organize screenshots without sending them off your device.

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how CleanShot Vault, provided by Hangzhou Anshu Technology Co., Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"), handles information when you use the app.

Data we collect

We do not collect personal data through CleanShot Vault. The app does not require an account and does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.

Photos access

With your permission, CleanShot Vault accesses your Photos library to identify and display screenshots. Photos and screenshots are processed locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to a third-party server.

You can grant full or limited Photos access and change that permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Information stored on your device

Titles, notes, tags, categories, favorites, review status, sensitive-content labels, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. You can remove this organization data from within the app or by deleting the app.

Screenshot deletion

CleanShot Vault only requests deletion when you initiate a delete action. iOS may ask you to confirm changes to your Photos library. Deleted photos are managed by Apple Photos, including its Recently Deleted behavior.

Sharing

If you choose to share a screenshot, the app uses the iOS system share sheet. The destination you select handles the shared content under its own privacy policy. We do not receive a copy.

Children's privacy

CleanShot Vault is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security and retention

Because app data remains on your device, it is protected by the security controls available on your device and in iOS. We do not retain copies of your screenshots or organization data on our servers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
