ReceiptVault stores your receipts, images, warranty details, reminders, and preferences locally on your device. The app has no account system or backend server.
Why is text recognition not finding every field?
Use a well-lit, sharp image with the receipt filling the frame. You can review and edit every recognized field before saving.
How do I enable reminders?
Open ReceiptVault Settings, select Notifications, and allow notifications in iOS. Reminder timing can be adjusted in the app. ReceiptVault uses local notifications only.
How do I protect the app with Face ID?
Open Settings in ReceiptVault and enable Face ID. If access was previously denied, allow Face ID for ReceiptVault in iOS Settings.
How do backup and restore work?
Create a local backup from Settings and save it to a location you control. To restore, choose the backup file from the import flow. Keep an independent copy before deleting or replacing data.
How do I export my records?
Use Export to create a PDF or CSV. ReceiptVault presents the iOS share sheet so you can choose where the file goes.
How do I delete all app data?
Open ReceiptVault Settings and choose Clear All Data. Review the confirmation carefully because this removes locally stored records and attachments.
Does ReceiptVault work without internet?
Yes. Core features, including receipt recognition, storage, search, reminders, statistics, export, and backup, are designed to work offline.
